Welcome to author Laura Knight's first website! Throughout these pages you will find snippets of my work from short stories and unfinished novels, as well as some poetry and writing exercises.
My most recent development is a blog that has all the info pertaining to anything new I write: LKKnight.com. My husband meticulously designed Realms of Knight (but I drew the fairy). I love how the site looks and how easy it is to navigate, but the aforementioned husband had the chore of updating it whenever I wrote anything new. I figured it would be best to have something I could easily update myself. Someday, when I hit the Best-Seller list, I'll need another website, but for now LKKnight.com will suffice.
I also have a blog at Knight's Yarn where I chat about whatever's on my mind. The posts vary between subjects such as homeschooling, vegetarianism, writing, and life in general.
Since 2004, I have participated in National Novel Writing Month during November. The idea is to write 50,000 words in 30 days, with no deep thoughts about the value of the work; just butt-in-chair, let-it-spill-out writing. My page on the site is Nanowrimo.org under the guise of Titania le Fey. Just keep in mind the site is really only active in November.
