In the 'tween time
We will meet
I, the fairy,
And you, the human
In the 'tween time of
Dusk or dawn
I will flutter by you
Twinkling like dew
And you will notice,
Smiling to yourself,
Humming a sweet tune.
In the 'tween time
Of midnight or noon
I will shower you with kisses
All over your face
So you might think
You've walked through a spider's web
But you'll soon realize it's me
Greeting you
The way all fairies greet their loves.
And at the crossroads
One strange day
You will enter my world
Of laughter and love
Where I will show you wondrous things
And you will be alone no more.
